Meta / Mesa Mind & Our Esoteric Bodies–Deconstructing Human Aura Into Mesa Anchors For Deep Inner Work

In Eastern traditions, particularly within Hinduism, Buddhism, and certain esoteric practices, human beings are understood to possess multiple bodies or layers of existence, often referred to as “sheaths” or koshas. These bodies range from the most material to the most subtle, and each serves a distinct purpose in the journey of consciousness.

It could be useful to align the main concepts of my MetaMind Bend Model and associate the Mesa Anchors we work with during our transformational work (training or coaching) with the primary types of the human body. (You can learn more about the system of Mesa Anchors and our process of Deconstruction, Release and Diffusion by downloading our Manual or attending our training programs).

According to this classification, there are eight types of bodies. In some other materials, we can find a different classification. For example, The Law of One primarily divides the human system into only three main aspects that correspond to different levels of consciousness or ‘bodies:

  1. Physical Body (The Third Density Body),
  2. Mental Body (The Mind),
  3. Spiritual Body (The Soul or Higher Self).

However, I would like us to work with the typology used in many Eastern traditions and energy practices.

More and more, we speak about the human aura. These 8 bodies are often visualized as layers or sheaths surrounding the physical body, and they can be represented as energy fields, rays, or lines in the aura. These bodies or energy layers progressively become more subtle as they move away from the physical body, with the Physical Body being the densest and the Spiritual Body being the most ethereal and distant.

The aura is typically viewed as an energy field composed of multiple layers or bodies, each reflecting different aspects of a person’s being, from the physical to the spiritual. These layers are often shown as concentric fields or “rays” of energy emanating outward from the body. The deeper, more subtle bodies are represented further from the physical body, while the more tangible ones are closer.

So, let’s look at where the MetaMind Bend Model’s main concepts (of Mesa Mind and Mesa Anchors that contract Meta Mind) might fit here.

Below is the grouping of anchors by body, with each body’s description and role, followed by the specific anchor placement with a brief explanation of why it applies to each body. I’ll also clarify the “unclear placement” anchors by assigning them to all relevant bodies.

1. Physical Body (Sthula Sharira)

The Physical Body is the tangible, material body. It houses the organs, bones, muscles, and tissues. It is the densest of the bodies and interacts with the physical world. The role of the Physical Body is to carry out the functions of physical survival, health, and sensory experience.

Corresponding Mesa Anchors:

  • Physical Sensations: Directly linked to physical health, discomfort, and sensation.
  • Shame: Can cause a heavy, contracted sensation in the body.
  • Guilt: Often felt physically as tightness or discomfort.
  • Resentments: Held in the body as tension, pain, or blocked energy.
  • Other Contracting Emotions: Emotions manifest physically as tension, pain, or discomfort in the body.
  • Others (ultimately all Mesa Anchors eventually are manifested in the body in the form of subtle or strong sensations).

2. Vital Body (Pranamaya Kosha)

The Vital Body is the energetic body, linked to prana or life force. It governs vitality, energy levels, and emotional states, as well as connecting the body to the spiritual. This body is more subtle than the physical but still directly affects physical health and well-being.

Corresponding Mesa Anchors:

  • Resistances: Blockages or stagnation of prana can cause energetic resistance, preventing flow.
  • Desires & Preferences: These drive the flow of energy toward or away from experiences.
  • Attachments: Energetic attachments to people, places, or objects can drain vitality.
  • Distractions: Diverts prana away from productive activities or spiritual practices.
  • Astral Mimetics: Energetic patterns from the astral world can influence and distort the flow of life force.
  • Vengeances: Unresolved energy from past actions or conflicts disrupts the flow of prana.
  • Controls: Can be rooted in manipulating energy, either consciously or unconsciously.
  • Other Contracting Emotions: Emotions, especially repressed or contradictory emotions, or those suppressed after trauma, affect our life force.

3. Mental Body (Manomaya Kosha)

The Mental Body governs thoughts, feelings, and the overall mental framework. It includes the cognitive functions, logical reasoning, emotions, and the interface through which we perceive the world.

Corresponding Mesa Anchors:

    • Thoughts: Directly associated with the mental body, forming our cognitive framework.
    • Perceptions: The way we interpret reality mentally.
    • Beliefs: Deeply ingrained patterns of thinking that guide perception.
    • Assumptions: Mental shortcuts or unfounded beliefs we accept without critical thinking.
    • Biases & Heuristics: Cognitive biases shape how we process information.
    • Projections & Judgments: Mental projections onto others based on our inner biases.
    • Fears: Fears shape mental patterns and thinking, influencing decision-making.
    • Shame: Linked to internal judgments and self-critical thoughts.
    • Guilt: Often mentally internalized as negative self-evaluation.
    • Regrets: Thoughts centered around past choices and their perceived consequences.
  • Other Contracting Emotions: Ultimately, all emotions belong to this layer.
  • Distractions: Mental distractions that prevent focus or clarity of thought.
  • Values: Core beliefs that define what is important in life.
  • Resistances: Mental resistance to change or growth, rooted in fear or insecurity.
  • Desires & Preferences: Mental constructions of what we think we want.

4. Astral Body (Sukshma Sharira)

The Astral Body is more subtle and connects us to the emotional plane. It is often related to dreams, astral travel, and the emotional states we experience on a deeper level, beyond the physical.

Corresponding Mesa Anchors:

  • Fears: Emotional fears often emanate from the astral realm, influencing deeper emotions.
  • Projections & Judgments: We project our mental and emotional states into the astral plane, affecting others and ourselves.
  • Astral Mimetics: Energetic impressions and patterns from the astral plane that influence emotions, behaviors, and choices.
  • Attachments: Energetic connections to people, places, or experiences can form in the astral body.
  • Resentments: Holding emotional grudges in the astral body disturbs the energetic field.
  • Vengeances: The energetic charge of revenge or emotional turmoil impacts both the astral body and the emotional state.
  • Quantum Dents: Residual energies or karmic imprints from past experiences can be experienced through our emotional body.
  • Controls: Control mechanisms, such as manipulation of others’ energies, can arise in the astral body, as well as further affect it.

5. Intellectual Body (Vijnanamaya Kosha)

The Intellectual Body is the layer of refined intellect, wisdom, and discernment. It influences higher cognitive functions like reasoning, analysis, and understanding of deeper truths.

Corresponding Mesa Anchors:

  • Beliefs: Deep, intellectual frameworks of understanding that shape perception.
  • Assumptions: Cognitive models that influence our interpretation of reality.
  • Biases & Heuristics: Distorted thinking patterns and judgments at an intellectual level.
  • Causality Errors: Misunderstanding of cause and effect, often on an intellectual level.
  • Projections & Judgments: Intellectual assessments and evaluations projected onto others.
  • Dissonances: Conflicting intellectual models or cognitive dissonance within this body.
  • Quantum Dents: Intellectual distortions or misinterpretations of reality at a higher level.
  • Persistence to Disconnect: Intellectual resistance to deep truth or spiritual awakening.

6. Bliss Body (Anandamaya Kosha)

The Bliss Body is the level of pure, unshakable joy and spiritual peace. It connects to our deeper sense of contentment, love, and the experience of oneness.

Corresponding Mesa Anchors:

    • Shame: Blocks the experience of joy and spiritual bliss.
    • Guilt: Disturbs the inherent peace and joy within.
    • Regrets: Negative energy and attachment to past mistakes that prevent inner bliss.
    • Resentments: Holding onto past emotional wounds prevents bliss.
    • Vengeances: Disrupts inner peace, as vengeance conflicts with the bliss state.
  • Other Contracting Emotions: Ultimately, all emotions affect this layer.

7. Causal Body (Karana Sharira)

The Causal Body is the deepest layer, where karmic imprints, the soul’s essence, and past life experiences are stored. This body governs the soul’s ultimate purpose and the blueprint for individual experiences.

Corresponding Mesa Anchors:

  • Past Choices: Karmic patterns carried from previous lifetimes that influence current behavior.
  • Quantum Dents: Deep-seated imprints or distortions in the soul’s blueprint.
  • Vengeances: Karmic debts and unresolved emotions affecting the soul’s path.
  • Causality Errors: Misunderstandings about the soul’s journey or cause and effect.
  • Resentments: Held onto from previous lives, these unresolved issues influence current experiences.
  • Desires & Preferences: Karmic residues that continue to drive desires and needs.

8. Spiritual Body (Atman or Self)

The Spiritual Body is the highest and most subtle body, representing the true essence of the self, beyond all layers of ego and illusion. It is the eternal soul, the pure consciousness.

Corresponding Mesa Anchors:

  • Shame: Distorts the pure, divine essence, preventing the realization of true self.
  • Guilt: A false sense of separation from the divine essence.
  • Regrets: Disconnection from the eternal self.
  • Fears: Existential fears tied to the illusion of separation from the divine.
  • Projections & Judgments: Projecting ego-based distortions onto the higher self.
  • Attachments: Attachment to egoic identity or material existence clouds the true self.
  • Resistances: Resistance to spiritual awakening or the realization of the higher self.
  • Dissonances: Conflicts between the ego and the soul’s true nature.

To troubleshoot and optimize one’s life by understanding the concepts brought forward by The MetaMind Bend Model and its context in the esoteric system of body layers, we must address the intersections of energy disturbances and emotional blockages that may be present in different bodies. By correlating these two systems, one can reveal patterns of imbalance that lead to cognitive limitations, emotional stagnation, physical ailments, and other forms of life dissonance.

Here’s a breakdown of how one might approach this integrated system of analysis and healing:

Step 1: Identifying Areas of Discomfort in Each Layer

(We do this during our intake sessions and Identity Gap Analysis that you can order here).

  • Start with the physical body: If you’re facing chronic illness, fatigue, or discomfort, look to the Vital Body. Physical sensations in the body can point to energy blockages or imbalances that are caused by unresolved emotional or mental patterns.
  • Mental body disturbances: If you’re feeling mentally foggy, overloaded, or unable to focus, examine the Mental Body. This includes looking for cognitive Mesa Anchors– beliefs, biases, assumptions etc.
  • Emotional body conflicts: If you’re struggling with emotional turmoil like fear, resentment, or guilt, these are often deeply tied to the Astral Body. The Emotional Body holds unresolved emotional experiences and can be influenced by distractions and attachments.
  • Energetic blockages: If you notice dissonances or energetic leaks–such as a sense of powerlessness or exhaustion–this could indicate a disturbance in your Vital Body, influenced by external energies like relationships or toxins.

Step 2: Map Mesa Anchors to Bodies

We design the Mesa Anchors Map for each Loop of the MMB process.

To troubleshoot effectively, you must map each Mesa Anchor to the body that it’s most likely to affect, for example:

  • Vital Body (Energy Body):
    • Distractions: We will identify your emotional distractions (e.g., lack of grounding) that weaken the flow of prana.
    • Resentments & Fears: These emotions contract the energy, blocking vital energy.
    • Physical Sensations: Often linked to energetic disturbances or blockages in this body.
    • Desires & Preferences: Attachments to specific desires drain prana and leave one energetically depleted.
  • Mental Body (Thoughts, Beliefs):
    • Beliefs, Assumptions, Biases: These create mental filters that limit perception and influence life choices, creating cognitive dissonance.
    • Thoughts & Projections: Unchecked thoughts can create a self-fulfilling prophecy, reducing clarity and mental energy.
    • Judgments: These limit your ability to see the truth and create mental friction that drains energy.
  • Astral Body (Emotions):
    • Shame, Guilt, Regrets: Strong emotional anchors from past events influence your ability to feel safe and loved, creating energetic leaks.
    • Projections: Emotional projections on others (unresolved anger or disappointment) can cloud perception and cause emotional imbalance.
    • Attachments & Relationships: The more you hold onto people or situations (good or bad), the more they can influence your emotional energy.
  • Spiritual Body (Higher Self / Soul):
    • Quantum Dents & Persistence to Disconnect: These are related to soul fragmentation. Unresolved soul wounds or a disconnection from higher consciousness can create an overall lack of alignment and energy flow.
    • Vengeances: Emotional karma, especially unresolved resentment or revenge motives, can impede spiritual growth.

Step 3: Diagnosing the Root Cause of Life Troubles

For diagnostic purposes during MetaMind Bend sessions, we run diagnostic Mesa Loops.

By examining the intersections of the bodies and Mesa Anchors, you can begin diagnosing the root causes of life troubles:

  1. Cognitive Dissonance or Mental Fog
    • Likely caused by the Mental Body filled with conflicting beliefs, assumptions, and biases. If someone experiences confusion, lack of clarity, or indecision, these anchors might be blocking the flow of clear thought.
  2. Health Issues (Physical Illness/Fatigue):
    • Often connected to blockages in the Vital Body caused by suppressed emotional or energetic blockages (like resentments, fear, negative thought patterns). Physical ailments like chronic pain, fatigue, or weak immunity are often the body’s way of signaling energetic misalignment.
  3. Relationship Struggles:
    • If relationships are draining, consider the Astral Body and attachments. Projections of personal emotions, unresolved guilt, or emotional dependencies are key indicators of why a person is experiencing turmoil in personal connections.
  4. Lack of Manifestation Success:
    • This might indicate a conflict between the Mental and Spiritual Bodies, where desires and attachments interfere with higher alignment. Desires often act as anchors pulling someone’s energy away from their true potential, and attachments block the flow of manifestation.
  5. Chronic Negative Emotion (Anxiety, Fear, Depression):
    • These often point to emotional blockages in the Astral Body, influenced by fears or resentments. If someone feels stuck in a cycle of negative emotion, they might need to release emotional anchors.

Step 4: Taking Action (Corrective Measures)

Once you’ve diagnosed where the disruptions and blockages exist, it’s time to address them with targeted action.

During our session, after c running a consequence Mesa Loop, for each finding we perform a few procedures: Deconstruction, Release, and Diffusion.

On your own you can do any of the above, based on your existing knowledge and resources.

  1. Energetic Clearing:
    • Use pranic healing, meditation, or breathing exercises to clear blockages in the Vital Body and restore energetic flow. Energy healing can also help release distractions, resentments, or excess desires.
  2. Mental Reprogramming:
    • Engage in cognitive reframing to address limiting beliefs, assumptions, and biases. These can rewire mental patterns, reducing cognitive dissonance and improving clarity.  (Please note, within the MMB process we do not do reframing as we believe it keeps a person deeper in the cognitive anchor, only changing its context. You can attend our FREE masterclass to learn how MetaMind Bend Model can help you reach any desired outcomes and learn about our processes).
  3. Emotional Release:
    • Work through emotion-focused techniques, journaling, or therapy to clear resentments, guilt, shame, or projections in the Astral Body.
  4. Attachment Work:
    • Engage in forgiveness practices, self-inquiry, or energetic boundary-setting to release emotional or mental attachments to people, places, and things, especially if they are draining energy from your Vital Body or Astral Body.
  5. Spiritual Alignment:
    • Focus on reconnecting with your Higher Self through meditation, soul-searching, or spiritual practices that promote alignment with the Spiritual Body. Address quantum dents and soul fragmentation to heal deeper, more spiritual aspects of yourself.

Step 5: Integrating and Reflecting on the Process

For that purpose, in the MMB work we begin with re-testing. That further defines strategies that we suggest and hold you accountable for.

After taking corrective action, it’s important to reflect on how your energy systems and life experience shift. You’ll want to observe:

  • Physical changes: Are you experiencing improved health, more vitality, or less fatigue?
  • Mental clarity: Are your thoughts clearer, and is your focus sharper?
  • Emotional equilibrium: Do you feel more at peace, are you managing your emotional reactions more effectively?
  • Spiritual connection: Do you feel more aligned with your higher purpose and a deeper sense of peace?

This integrated approach provides a holistic roadmap to troubleshoot and heal your life. By addressing the root causes of emotional, mental, and physical imbalances through the intersection of bodies and anchors, you can achieve greater alignment, vitality, and fulfillment.
